Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply to our repair bookings, spare-parts orders and website.
Last updated: 29 October 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms and Conditions apply when you use homerepairshub.in or book a repair or order a spare part from HomeRepairsHub ("we", "us"). By using the website or placing a request, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Our services
We offer home appliance repair for washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, televisions, microwave ovens and deep freezers, and we supply spare parts for these appliances. We currently serve selected areas of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and confirm coverage by pincode.
3. How bookings and orders work
- You submit a repair booking or spare-parts order request through our forms. You will see a reference number.
- We verify your details and contact you by your chosen method.
- Your booking or order becomes binding only when we send you a confirmation and you have approved the quoted details.
- We may decline a request, for example when your pincode is outside our service area or we cannot match a suitable part. If so, we will tell you.
4. Service visits
Please make sure the appliance is accessible and that you, or an adult representative, are present at the agreed time. Visit and completion times are estimates and may change because of traffic, weather or the condition of the appliance. We will tell you promptly if a time changes.
5. Prices, inspection charges and payment
- All prices are in Indian rupees. Taxes, including GST where applicable, are shown or stated when we quote.
- Any visit or inspection charge, the repair estimate, the part price and the delivery charge are shared with you before you approve.
- If we find extra work is needed, we ask for your approval before doing it.
- Payment is due in the way stated in your confirmation. We do not take payment on the website.
6. Spare parts and compatibility
We match parts using the brand, model and part details you give us, so please make sure they are accurate. We confirm the fit before your order is final, and we tell you whether a part is genuine, OEM-equivalent or compatible when we quote. Delivery times are estimates.
7. Warranty on work and parts
Any warranty period on a repair or a part is stated in your confirmation or invoice. It covers faults in our workmanship or in the part supplied. It does not cover misuse, power surges, water or physical damage, repair by anyone else, or normal wear and tear. Your appliance manufacturer's warranty stays with the manufacturer. Repairs by a non-authorised provider may affect that warranty, so please tell us your warranty status when you book.
8. Cancellation, returns and refunds
- You can cancel or reschedule free of charge before a technician is dispatched or a part is shipped. After that, a reasonable visit or handling charge may apply, and we tell you the amount first.
- If a part we supply is not the part agreed, or is faulty on delivery, tell us within 7 days with photos and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
- Parts that have been fitted, used or damaged are not returnable unless they were faulty or incorrect when supplied.
- Approved refunds are made by the original payment method or as agreed, normally within 7 working days.
Nothing here limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
9. Your responsibilities and safety
- Give accurate information about yourself, the appliance and the fault.
- Do not open or repair electrical appliances yourself, and follow the safety advice on our service pages.
- Remove personal items, food or clothes from the appliance where possible, and back up or note down any settings or data on smart devices.
- Provide a safe place to work.
10. Limits on our liability
We take care with every job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the loss of food, contents, data or use, except where it is caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for faults that existed before our work. Our total liability for any booking or order is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
